Resident Agreement
As a resident of Saving Grace Recovery Homes, I agree to the following expectations:
Personal Recovery:
- Attend 5 meetings per week either in person or virtual. This can include 12-step fellowships, recovery related meetings, bible study, and church. It is encouraged while at Saving Grace to spend as much time as possible in prayer, as that is how we grow closer to God.

- Monday night Bible Study
- Thursday night Men’s Group
- Sunday church attendance

- Remain abstinent from all mind- or mood-altering substances except those prescribed by a medical provider.
- All forms of Medication Assisted Treatment are accepted.
- All other prescribed medications will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
- All medication must be kept in the lock box provided by the home.
- Saving Grace Recovery Homes owner will always have the code to the box.
- All residents are subject to medication checks at any time.
- Submit to all UA (urine analysis) and breathalyzers requested, regardless of time of day or reason.
- Once a UA or breathalyzer has been requested from me, I must remain within the presence of leadership until the sample has been provided.
- There is a 2-hour time limit for urine samples to be provided.
- Failure to comply could result in discharge from the home.
- The use of cold medication is strictly prohibited unless approved by management prior to use.
- The ingestion of poppy seeds is prohibited.
Conduct within the Home
- I will keep my living area neat and clean.
- My bed will be made.
- I will complete my assigned daily chore promptly and thoroughly.
- I will eat only the food I have purchased.
- I will provide my own toiletry and hygiene products.
- I will keep the provided bedding (Blanket, sheets, and pillows) clean and within the home always.
- Any threatening or aggressive behavior towards others, within or outside the home, can result in immediate discharge.
- I will always respect the beliefs and lifestyles of others.
- I will show the utmost respect to all outside entities coming into the home to provide services and support.
- I will keep doors and windows always locked.
- I will not disclose door entry codes to anyone outside the home.
- I will shut off lights, televisions, and other electronics when not in use or needed.
- I will assist with basic upkeep of the home I am residing in, including lawn care and snow removal.
- Smoking and vaping will be done only in the designated area outside.
- Any smoking or vaping within the home can result in immediate discharge.
- Curfew is 10 PM unless previously approved by Management.
- If work shifts extend past 10 PM residents are expected to return home immediately after the completion of their shift.
- All vehicles on the property must be registered, inspected, and insured and operated only by a licensed driver.
- No visitors allowed in the home.
- Exclusions are children and special events, when approved by management prior to the visit.
- All residents will refrain from any media that does not support Christian values, including television and music.
Conduct within the Community
- I will provide a 2-week notice to any employer before moving on to a new job opportunity.
- I will ensure that behavior both on the property and out in the community is respectful and helpful.
- If I am collecting SSI/SSDI: I will provide meaningful volunteer hours on a weekly basis.
- I will not disclose personal information about any residents of the home.
Financial Responsibility
- A one-time entrance fee of $400 will be due at the time of entrance and is non-refundable.
- A weekly program fee of $200 is due Fridays by 5 PM
- A late fee of $10 per day will be applied if applicable
- Program fees are non-refundable
- I am responsible for the purchase and preparation of my own meals.
- I am responsible for purchasing my own toiletries and hygiene products.
- I am responsible for all costs associated with keeping my laundry clean, including my bedding.
- I will assist in the purchase of toilet paper and paper towels within the home.
My Rights as a Resident:
- To reside in a substance free, recovery-oriented environment.
- To be treated with dignity and respect.
- To have a voice within the home and the ability to advocate for myself and others.
- To express my values, beliefs and practices, both spiritually and culturally, without fear of judgement.
- To be free from verbal, physical and sexual abuse and/or harassment within the home.
- To have a reasonable expectation of privacy within the home.
- To have my personal belongings free from destruction by other residents.
- To have a clearly identified grievance policy.
- To have my Resident agreement and other documentation kept confidential and inaccessible by other residents or the general public.
- To have reasonable accommodations made for me at the discretion of the owner.
- To receive copies of all signed agreements and payment receipts provided within 72 hours of request.
